How to receive money via Ria Money

  • Send the reference (PIN) number to the receiver
  • The recipient should visit the nearest Co-operative Bank branch and present the reference number (PIN) and the identification documents i.e. a valid passport, national ID to pick up your money.
  • The recipient should complete the remittance form – available at our branches countrywide.
  • Once verified, the recipient will receive the money (usually in local currency (Kenya shillings) either as cash or deposited directly to their co-op bank account.

NB:

The recipient’s name on the money transfer record must match the name as it appears on their identification document.
